About Us

Windfield Academy is an elite tutoring service for students in grades 1-12 founded by a diverse team of young women from Toronto, Canada. A year and half into the Covid-19 pandemic we began feeling its impacts on our academics. The jarring and unpredictable switches from online to in-person classes combined with less access to teachers had left us in need of extra support. We found that by leaning on each other’s strengths and helping each other learn we were able to receive the support we had been lacking and finish the year strong. We founded Windfield Academy with the mission of creating a supportive and inclusive community to help students in our community gain access to the one-on-one support they need to succeed.

Since our founding in 2021, our team has grown to include university and high school students from across Canada.
